While our guests are currently sinking into their wood-fired hot tubs or listening for the call of the Buzzards, Nic’s been busy with the "glamorous" side of woodland life. Pedro the Welsh pony decided it was officially moulting season, and let’s just say there’s enough hair on the floor to knit a second pony.
It’s all part of the rhythm here. We manage these woods sympathetically so that while Pedro gets his groom, the harvest mice and woodpeckers get to keep their pristine habitat.
