Third time lucky? More like third time sauna! 🧖♀️✨ We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Joanne and her partner back to Emlyn’s Coppice for their yearly pilgrimage to pause and reset earlier this year.
Even Storm Dave couldn’t dampen their spirits—or their resolve to brave the cold shower before plunging back into the steamy warmth of Orme’s private wood-fired Finnish sauna! (That’s some true glamping dedication, Joanne! 😉🌨️)
This is what 'slow travel' is all about. Sometimes the most memorable moments are found when the weather forces us to hunker down, turn off the noise, and really feel the contrast between the wild North East Welsh elements and raw, woodland luxury.
While you're resetting, keep an eye (and ear) out for our local residents – the Tawny Owls often get chatty when the weather settles, and if you're lucky, you might spot a Fox slinking through the shadows or even a persistent Woodpecker echoing through the trees the next morning. It's a proper ecosystem we have here, lovingly managed (if I do say so myself) for maximum peace and minimal stress. 🦉🦊
