We’ve been a bit quiet on the Ayr front lately because, truth be told, a sneaky leak decided to make a meal of the floors. Not exactly the 'water feature' we had in mind for our guests...
So, I’ve had the sleeves rolled up. Out with the old, and in with some much tougher, hard-wearing floors and a brand-new, toastier underfloor heating system to keep the Welsh Winter weather at bay.
While I had the pod stripped back to its bones, I couldn't resist making a few 'executive decisions' regarding the layout. I’ve been keeping it under wraps (literally—see the photo 🏎️💨) while I finish the final bits of joinery.
I’m not quite ready to pull the curtain back just yet, but let’s just say it’s a much more intentional space for a slow morning brew while the Jays and Buzzards do their thing outside.
