🌸 Mother’s Day Memories 🌸
This beautiful photograph was taken in April 1942 on my Nanna and Grandad’s Wedding Day. Every time I look at it, I’m struck by how happy they look and by the strength, love and resilience of that generation.
My wonderful Nanna worked well into her 80s and lived to the grand age of 92. She was an incredible lady who taught me so much about hard work, kindness and the importance of family.
Today feels like the perfect moment to remember her and all the amazing mothers, grandmothers and carers who shape our lives and leave us with such precious memories.
