Host Terms

These Host Terms ("Host Terms") apply to all users who create a host account, upload content, or import content from third-party platforms (including Instagram) on Hostinspired. They apply in addition to our Terms of Use and our Moderation Policy, which together govern how content is hosted, displayed, and managed on the platform.

By creating a host account or uploading or importing content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Host Terms.

1. Platform Role

Hostinspired operates as a hosting platform for user-generated content. We do not act as a publisher, editor, agent, or representative of hosts or their content.

Content displayed on Hostinspired is provided by hosts or imported from third-party accounts under the host’s authority. Responsibility for such content remains with the host who uploaded or authorised it.

2. Host Responsibilities

As a host, you are solely responsible for all content you upload, submit, or import, including images, videos, audio, captions, descriptions, and linked media.

You confirm and warrant that:

You own the content or have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use it.
Your rights permit display, hosting, and promotion of the content outside its original platform.
The content does not infringe copyright, trademarks, database rights, privacy rights, or other third-party rights.
The content does not breach advertising, promotional, or consumer protection laws.
The content is accurate, not misleading, and lawful.

3. Imported Content and Third-Party Accounts

If you connect a third-party account (such as Instagram), you confirm that you are authorised to grant Hostinspired access to that account and its content.

You acknowledge that content imported from third-party platforms may be subject to different licensing terms on those platforms, and you confirm that you have the right to permit its use on Hostinspired.

Hostinspired is not responsible for the availability, behaviour, or licensing terms of third-party platforms.

4. Audio and Music

Where content includes audio or music, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights for its use on Hostinspired.

Hostinspired may automatically mute, remove, or disable audio where required for legal, compliance, or platform reasons. Such actions do not constitute approval or validation of the remaining content.

5. Automated Processing and Moderation

Hostinspired may apply automated technical measures to content for purposes including legal compliance, safety, quality, and platform integrity.

These measures may include:

muting or disabling audio
detecting potential copyright or duplication issues
applying standardised text clarifications for legal or compliance purposes
temporarily restricting visibility while checks are carried out

Automated processing does not constitute editorial review, approval, or certification of legality. Responsibility for content remains with the host at all times.

6. Content Visibility and Removal

Hostinspired may remove, disable, restrict, or suspend access to content at any time, with or without notice, where:

content is alleged or suspected to infringe third-party rights
content breaches these Host Terms or platform policies
content creates legal or reputational risk
we receive a complaint or legal notice

Removal or restriction does not imply wrongdoing by Hostinspired and does not limit our other rights or remedies.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hostinspired, its operators, officers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including legal and professional fees on a full indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with:

any content you upload, submit, publish, or import to Hostinspired;
any allegation that your content infringes intellectual property, database rights, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights;
any breach of these Host Terms, the Terms of Use, or applicable law;
any misleading, unlawful, or unauthorised promotional or advertising activity;
any regulatory investigation, enforcement action, or complaint relating to your content or activity.

This indemnity includes, without limitation, liability arising from claims brought by third parties, rights holders, regulators, or enforcement authorities, and applies whether such claims are founded in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise.

You agree that Hostinspired may, at its discretion, settle or compromise any claim to which this indemnity applies, and you will remain responsible for all resulting costs and liabilities.

This indemnity survives termination of your account or removal of your content.

8. Repeat Infringement

Hostinspired operates a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts that repeatedly upload or import infringing or unlawful content may be suspended or terminated without compensation.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your host account at any time where you breach these Host Terms or create legal or operational risk.

Upon termination, access to your content and account features may be removed without liability to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hostinspired shall not be liable for losses arising from:

host-generated or imported content
removal or restriction of content
use of third-party platforms

Nothing in these Host Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

11. Changes to These Host Terms

We may update these Host Terms from time to time. Continued use of host features constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Host Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
