Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how you can request deletion of data that Hostinspired has received via Meta products, including Instagram.
How to request data deletion
You may request deletion of Instagram-derived data in one of the following ways:
- Submit a data deletion request using our contact form
Please include the Instagram username or the email address associated with your Hostinspired account so we can locate your data.
What data is deleted
Once a valid request is received, we will delete or permanently disable:
- Instagram account identifiers stored by Hostinspired
- Instagram media imported into Hostinspired
- Associated captions and metadata derived from Instagram
- Authorisation tokens associated with the Instagram connection
Processing time
We aim to process data deletion requests within a reasonable period. In most cases, deletion is completed within 5 days.
Confirmation
Where possible, we will confirm completion of the deletion request via email or through your Hostinspired account.
Additional information
Disconnecting your Instagram account immediately stops any further access to Instagram data. No new data is imported after disconnection.
